Today was pretty cool. T124A’s and Shy Humpback were the highlights. We were able to view the T124A’s on all three tours. The first tour’s water conditions were rough. The second tour was so much better. The evening tour and water conditions made for a lovely evening with the sun lighting things up beautifully.
We were most impressed with the calf in the 124A’s He is roughly three years old from what I have learned today.
We also saw a Humpback whale that was being shy about showing his/her fluke, so we have no idea who we were viewing today.
On the last tour, we were able to see Sika Deer, Mouflon Sheep and Fallow Deer including an almost albino calf on Spieden Island. A great day with T124A’s and Shy Humpback.
Coming into the harbor, we had a great view of Mt. Baker and an NOAA ship the “Rainier” was in port on our return.
