The Biggs Killer Whales were in the Strait of Juan de Fuca and J Pod Residents in Swanson Channel in Canada.  J26 Mike was doing some “Kelping,” swimming through a kelp patch and dragging it along with him.

For the Biggs whales, we saw T37’s, T37B’s, T34’s, and T73B.  We arrived after they had finished off a seal kill and the seagulls were cleaning up the scraps of blubber.

For the SRKW’s we saw J16 Slick, J50 Scarlett, J26 Mike, and a few others.  We saw a seal pup nursing from mom and some Bald Eagles including a couple of chicks standing on the edge of their large nest.  We also saw some Tufted Puffins that were in the area of our whale watching.

Biggs in US and Residents in Canada made for an excellent tour for my guests.
