We were able to see J26 Mike, J17 Princess Angeline, and her calf J53 Kiki. I was hoping to see J16 Slick today with her calf J50 Scarlet, and I think we did, but I did not get good enough shots to share.
We also saw Bald Eagles and Harbor Seals, but I was concentrating on getting us to J Pod which was about 38 miles away on the first tour with some choppy seas which I am still feeling this evening.
It was a beautiful sunny day and a great day on the water. The playfulness of the orca showing some belly and pectoral fins. We also saw many Rhinoceros Auklet named so because of the horn on his beak. A memorable experience with J Pod in Strait of Georgia.
