One Auklet had five fish in its bill collecting them to feed its young. We spent time with J Pod in Haro Strait.

There were also Harbor Seals and a lone Stellar Sea Lion bull on the rocks.  I noticed he has a pretty nasty wound on his hind end and wondering if maybe that is why he is here, just healing up and resting instead of being at sea with the rest of his kind.

We viewed a Minke Whale for a bit. There were Black Oyster Catchers and Bald Eagles on our trips.

We spent some time with J16 Slick and her calf J50 Scarlett, J17 Princess Angeline and her calf J53 Kiki among others and also the big boy J26 Mike.  The morning’s seas were not to bad to navigate. By the afternoon there was quite a roll on the sea.

Watching J Pod in Haro Strait was nice. We saw one breach, but I was sharing with my guests and did not have the camera ready.
