Today we started searching for a group of Biggs Killer Whales that were southbound off of Vancouver last night. We first headed south where two Humpback Whales had been spotted and viewed one of them for a while.
Then we went to see some Tufted Puffins and other birds, also looking for Orca and Minke Whales.
We saw several Bald Eagles and then in the afternoon, we headed in the opposite direction to see another Humpback Whale. This whale is known as Yogi. The group of orca had been spotted by this time but they were well north of Vancouver and slowly making their way down.
By the time my afternoon tour ended they were still an hour and a half north. Still a good day to see Two Humpbacks, Puffins and other Critters.
