Then on to the playful Biggs T49A’s.

The whales were very playful today.  We did not see a kill take place, but they were so playful that I kind of think they may have enjoyed lunch before we came on the scene.

A few breaches, tail lobs, headstands while waving their tails at us. We started on the US side of the border and ended on the Canadian side.

On the way back we proceeded through John’s Pass and viewed the exotics of Spieden Island including Mouflon Rams, Ewes, and a few lambs.

Then we viewed Stellar Sea Lions who were curious about us.  I don’t usually print pics of crows, but I captured a shot of one eating a Sea Urchin, so I include him here.

All in all, a very good day observing the playful Biggs T49A’s and our marine and wildlife of the Salish Sea.
