Our tour today included a trip across the border to see the T18’s. A group of Mammal Eating Killer Whales. They are a group of four whales, two male, and two female.
They were split up into two pairs most of the time we were there. We spent most of our time with T19 and T19B. We later moved over to get a few shots of T18 and T19C.
They switched directions a few times, but we did not see a kill that I was aware of anyway.
On the way back to Friday Harbor we happened upon another group of five female Orca, but we were already late and just viewed them in passing.
A nice day spent with this group of Mammal Eating Killer Whales.
I stopped to show my guests one of the Canadian Bald Eagles and in doing so saw a couple of River Otters too.
I stopped off at a known haul out for Stellar Sea Lions, but none were there this time.
This tour was a long one, but a pretty special one too.
