We did not see Humpbacks though they were there, We did not see Grays though they were there, We did not see Minke though they were there. We did not see Bigg’s up in the Strait of Georgia or down in the Strait of Juan de Fuca though they were there. J-pod was even inbound though still too far out to see. What we did see were Biggs 34s 37s and 99s. We didnt see the 36As either even though we were very close. There were just too many whales to even think about seeing them all.

I flagged down a few boats this afternoon who were going too fast and headed right for the whales. All but one boat responded well. That one was actually harassing the whales intentionally so pics and notes have been passed on to WDFW.

The morning tour was drizzly and cloudy as reflected on the water and the afternoon tour had cleared up and made the water a deep blue.
