Happy Anniversary Jonathan and Christine.

We headed north intending to meet up with a Killer Wbale in Boundary Pass. By the time we got there, the whale had been lost. Boats were searching and I chose a path to try and locate it but we did not have any luck either. I went in the opposite direction towards Sidney, BC and then circled back.

Then we made our way back into US waters to see a Humpback Whale. This whale is known by the name of “Bond”. His classification ID is MMX0007 and from that came the name “Bond”.

We also saw some exotic Fallow Deer on Spieden Island, Harbor Seals and Steller Sea Lions. I looked for bald eagles but did not see one I could take a photo of. I think most are fishing in the rivers for the big pink salmon run going on right now.

September is my favorite time of year to be touring. We still have the nice weather and generally beautiful days.
