The weather was a bit choppy today and a heavy roll in the Strait of Georgia. I should have inccreased my F-stop to account for all the rolling and pitching of the boat but I didnt think of it until I see most of my pics slightly out of focus.
We saw J Pod and K Pod up at Roberts Bank. That was a long haul to get there. They were spread widely and as I would see a couple and try to work my way to them they would be on a deep dive again.
The Humpback Whales were much easier to photograph in calmer water and regular surface times. The two Fluke undersides that I shot were of Ghost, the dark one, and Pulteney the mostly white fluke. Also nearby we saw Striker, and Lorax.
A few bald eagles including the Juvenile here. Then the Stellar and California Sea Lions.
