It was a pretty spectacular day on the water seeing the T100’s and much more. On my first tour, we began searching but struck out finding whales. We did see many beautiful creatures though.
We saw Harbor Seals, Harbor Porpoise, Black Oystercatchers, Bald Eagles, and no luck finding whales.
On the second tour, we rounded the corner outside the harbor and were viewing Orca. My first tour we stopped by Low Island and saw a Black Oystercatcher. We then moved on seeing a few more species of our marinelife.
After returning to the harbor I informed my next tours guests that we were not successful on the first tour but we would still try.
We left the harbor, rounded the point and were almost with the T100 pod of Orca; On the first tour we stopped at Low island seeing Black Oystercatchers and moving on. Interesting that that this is where the T100’s poked their noses out from and crossed over into San Juan Channel.
We stayed with them on the second tour until we were right at Turn Point in Haro Strait and then it was time to head back home.
