This morning I started south and ran into a fog bank at Cattle Pass and stayed with me till I was west of Salmon Bank. Once clear I started scanning for whales and making my way to some Minke Whales on Hein Bank.

The water was somewhat a confused sea, like a washing machine. Once I got word of a Humpback Whale to the north I headed that way to calmer waters. We stayed with Vanta until she pointed towards the border and we moved on to other things.

Among other wildlife of the day, we had Harbor Seals, Black Oystercatchers, Glaucous Gull Chicks, Stellar Sea Lions, Bald Eagles, Tufted Puffin, and more.
