Minke Whales and Tufted Puffins

This border closure is stupid. In all the years that Pacific Whale Watch Association has been doing tours, we have never had to touch foreign soil and if it ever did happen it would be an emergency situation.

We saw some great wildlife but were prevented from seeing orca in our capability except the Canadian government is afraid we will pass on COVID virus while at sea hundreds of yards from any other vessel.

I hope you enjoy the pics of what we were able to see and hoping this situation ends at some point. We did see Minke whales but not as exciting as our loved orca.
