Welcome Home J Pod!

We started out seeing the Steller Sea Lions and a few sea birds before moving on to view the whales.

We spent most of our time viewing J22 Oreo, her son J38 Cookie, J27 Blackberry, and J26 Mike. We did see quite a few others from a distance. One photo was pretty nice with J26 Mike with Lime Kiln Lighthouse in the background. It was a dilemma deciding whether to have the lighthouse in focus or the whale. I am making it my featured pic for today’s post.

A shot of Eba, the whale poop sniffing dog for research, they collected a sample today from J38 Cookie. We came alongside to get a look at the samples collected. Eba and Giles are featured in the Disney Plus premier of “Its a Dog’s Life”. Take a look, you will enjoy it.

A couple of Bald Eagles and a few exotics of Spieden Island on the way home.
