Today the T18’s & T65B’s Pursue a Minke Whale on a fifteen-mile chase. In the end, they gave up and the whale moved on. We never got close to the Minke but I could see him porpoising in the distance just like the Orca were proposing. That would have been quite an exciting kill had they caught him.
On my first tour the T18s were milling near Discovery Island on the Canadian side and we could not cross the border to view them. Later during the second tour they discovered a Minke Whale and started the chase heading east right back into USA waters.
