A bunch of Yawning Steller Sea Lions was the highlight today. Yesterday we had gales and 6′ seas so tours were canceled. Today trying to get caught up with where our whales are we struck out on the USA side of the border. There were Bigg’s and Southern Residents on the Canadian side but until they open the border back up to us on the USA side we are not able to go see whales over there.
We did see a couple of Bald Eagles, a couple of Black Turnstone next to the Harbor Seals. Over by Smith Island a bunch of Surf and White-winged Scoter. A boat reported a Minke Whale but we sat in the area for a bit and did not see him.
