Rams and Ewes – Dall’s Porpoise & Steller’s

Unfortunately, the only cetaceans we saw were some Dall’s Porpoise and some Harbor Porpoise. It was one of those days where the COVID border lockdown prevented us from going to see whales because the ones found were on the other side of the border.

I shared Harlequin Ducks, Bald Eagles, Steller Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Dall’s, and Harbor Porpoise. A beautiful shot of Lime Kiln Lighthouse and then on to see the exotic animals of Spieden Island. The rut is in full swing with the Rams and Bucks usually staying hid out in the open chasing the Ewes and Does.  Still, it was a beautiful day on the water.
