Today all the orca pods we had yesterday had gone south into Puget Sound and out west beyond Sooke. We did meet up with a humpback named Divot. We also saw seals, sea lions, and bald eagles including three juveniles that were making a pair of Canada Geese very nervous. Mama goose has her wings dropped keeping her little ones hidden while papa goose was making hissing noises and bobbing his head trying to be intimidating.
“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
