There were several pods around, and it was a fairly rough water day, so we chose the best route to get to the closest pod. We had just missed a kill before we arrived. I started down towards Whale Rocks to see the stellar sea lions, but the conditions looked to be rougher than what I wanted to venture into, so we went the other way.
