Achilles One Year Old Humpback & T137s

The humpback’s name is Achilles, and while editing my pictures, I noticed a fresh wound. There is a loose flap of skin and a deep gash, and red meat is showing. See the last photo, over-cropped.

The T137s were moving very slowly today. There was not much action other than a private boat within feet of them. I have taken photos and forwarded them to NOAA.
