I had a six-hour birding charter today. While viewing puffins, a pod of whales approached our area, so we viewed the T65As for a bit and then returned to the puffins. We saw a kingfisher, black oystercatchers, tufted puffins, and others. We saw Ottis the sea otter and stellar sea lions. The morning started off with a blow that was supposed to have ended already but it lasted until we got down to smith island.
“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
