Today’s viewing included the T99s Gray Whale and T46Bs. When we left the dock, I pointed us north, going up the east side of Guemes Island. A colleague found a pod in Rosario Strait so we made our way over to them. Then we went up into the Strait of Georgia, where we viewed a gray whale feeding on Alden Bank. On the way back home, I discovered the T46B pod of orca. We held on to them for a bit, waiting for the next vessel to arrive, and then headed home. We had a great day.
“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
