Our day started out in fog and ended with T37As and others. I headed towards Smith Island to share puffins with our passengers. We found a few. Then, we stopped off at Whale Rocks to see the stellar sea lions. After that, we headed north to view orcas a colleague had located.
The first group we were with was very playful. They were breaching and tail-slapping. When they started moving, they made some kayakers very happy, passing close by. From there, we went north into Canada so they could see the Canadian Bald Eagles. I explained that they look just like the American Bald Eagle, but they talk differently over there.
