The morning started out heading west to meet up with a pod of orcas traveling east near Victoria. On the way, we were in a thick fog bank until we got to Hein Bank to view three minke whales. Not the greatest shot but they are fast.

Then on to Victoria to view T117A, T117Bs, T172, and T109As. It was a bit of a lumpy ride but we got there. On the way back we stopped off at Whale Rocks to see the stellar sea lions.

The second tour I took us north to see the T34s and T37s. When we got there I saw a blood boil in the water and they shared a meal of harbor porpoise. They have a canny way of severing the meat from the body without eating the lungs and guts or rib cage.
