We saw all the birds on my guests’ checklist today, though it was a bit interesting birding in the fog. There were black turnstones, surfbirds, black oystercatchers, harlequin ducks, tufted puffins, horned puffins, even a killer whale, and masts from a sailing schooner.
I have one shot I thought was remains of a seal pup that the bald eagles nabbed, however this is afterbirth from a mama seal giving birth to her pup.
