A Bigg’s pod shrouded in fog was difficult to find today. Once it cleared up, Barbara with All Aboard Sailing spotted them and saved the day for all of our tours. Brett with Eagle Wing Tours smelled a kill in the air and called me as I was a bit south of him. Then a few minutes later, Barbara spotted them a couple of miles north of him.
I had a couple on board from Fort Lewis, or JBLM as it is now called. He had me stop for a few moments as he proposed, and she said yes. When the orcas were finally located, our time was up, but I couldn’t resist spending time with them so this couple could enjoy them for a bit. I was late getting back for my second tour, but the next group was understanding.
