It took an hour and a half to get to the orcas today. I am always hesitant to make such a long trip because so many times, I do just that, and someone discovers a pod close to our home port. That was not the case today, though, and I am glad we made the effort.

We saw two kills, and they finished two other kills before we arrived. It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed the hunts in action.
