Kelping is when a whale finds some kelp and plays with it, dragging it around. Maybe it is a massage type of feeling for them, I don’t know but we see it often.
Another day where all the USA boats were viewing a Humpback during my two tours and a pod of Orca were across the border and we could have seen them except the water border is closed now.
We did see this beautiful whale, a Brown Pelican, and other sea birds plus the Steller Sea Lion bulls.
