The weather down in Juan de Fuca was  4′ and 5′ seas so I opted to go north. We saw Harbor Seals, Bald Eagles, Steller Sea Lions and then proceeded to Point Roberts where a report of a mom and calf Humpback Whales were seen.

We scanned on our way up and did a good look around the area but no mom and calf. I then started south searching as we went and eventually we were with a Humpback Whale and viewed him until we had to leave to get two of my guests back to Friday Harbor to catch their seaplane. I was sorry to cut our viewing short.
