On the morning tour, we arrived at the border just in time to see the T65B’s cross into the US waters and we viewed them until they crossed back into Canada. We saw other marine life including pinnipeds and sea birds. There were Harbor Seals, Steller Sea Lions, Black Turnstones, Bald Eagles, Harlequin Ducks, Cormorants, and so much more.

The afternoon tour I raced for the border to view the T65B’s that had crossed back into US waters but were pointed back to Canada. We got to view a few surfacing before they disappeared. Then the T18’s were pointed our way. We positioned ourselves to view them when they crossed into our waters but about a quarter mile out they turned back west away from us.

We moved on to see other marinelife while listening to see if they changed back towards us but they did not. We saw a Egg Yolk Jellyfish while sitting at the border observing the T18’s across the way.
