Bigg’s pod shrouded in fog

A Bigg’s pod shrouded in fog was difficult to find today. Once it cleared up, Barbara, with All Aboard Sailing, spotted them and saved the day for our tours. Brett with Eagle Wing Tours smelled a kill in the air and called me, as I was a bit south of him. Then a few minutes later, Barbara spotted them a couple of miles north of him.

I had a couple on board from Fort Lewis, or JBLM as it is now called. He had me stop momentarily as he proposed, and she said yes. When the orcas were finally located, our time was up, but I couldn’t resist spending time with them so this couple could enjoy them for a bit. I was late returning for my second tour, but the next group understood.
