My guests and I went west past Victoria and on to Race Rocks. The first we saw was the T38’s with the matriarch T38A who has a reverse arrow white birthmark on her right dorsal fin. It looks like a space ship flying. I last saw this pod about a year ago I think in Upright Channel.

I headed over to Race Rocks to search for a local Sea Otter that frequents the park. On the way, we saw a very young Humpback whale and watched it for a couple surfacings.

Then we searched for Ollie the Sea Otter with no luck. However, we just happened to be there when multiple pods of Transient or Biggs Killer Whales were passing by. This is what we call this a Tee Party. It was pretty spectacular seeing about twenty whales pass by.

It was getting late due to the distance we traveled so we made our way out and headed home and it was a beautiful evening on the water after seeing T38’s, T60’s, T41’s, T109A’s[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Spirit of Orca 20180910Spirit of Orca 20180910 41Spirit of Orca 20180910 40Spirit of Orca 20180910 39Spirit of Orca 20180910 38 Spirit of Orca 20180910 37Spirit of Orca 20180910 36Spirit of Orca 20180910 35Spirit of Orca 20180910 34Spirit of Orca 20180910 33 Spirit of Orca 20180910 32Spirit of Orca 20180910 31Spirit of Orca 20180910 30Spirit of Orca 20180910 29Spirit of Orca 20180910 28 Spirit of Orca 20180910 27Spirit of Orca 20180910 26Spirit of Orca 20180910 25Spirit of Orca 20180910 24Spirit of Orca 20180910 23 Spirit of Orca 20180910 22Spirit of Orca 20180910 21Spirit of Orca 20180910 20Spirit of Orca 20180910 19Spirit of Orca 20180910 18 Spirit of Orca 20180910 17Spirit of Orca 20180910 16[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
