The T100’s Swam By Friday Harbor today. I started my first tour early.  We just idled out of the harbor and we were with whales.

This group didn’t actually come into the harbor as some pods have in the past. I called my party and they were ready so we left early.

The T100’s include T100 the 40-year-old matriarch. Her 16-year-old son T100C with a tall fin but not yet fully grown. The other two offspring T100E born 2009 and a three-year-old calf T100F, born in 2015.

A pair of Bald Eagles cleaning up after what looked like a Harbor Seal kill. Looking at my pictures I can see this was a salmon.  Notice the tell-tale salmon roe at his feet.

I saw a couple Great Blue Herons. On Spieden Island we saw Fallow Deer, Sika Deer, Mouflon Sheep, and more eagles.

What an amazing experience as the T100’s Swim By Friday Harbor.
