We made a long trip up to the north side of the 49th parallel of latitude. The 49th is the top of the United States. Through the islands it kind jigs and jags, but the 49th is the very top.

We caught up with the Biggs T65A’s. This is a family of orca that includes the matriarch T65A, her teenage 14-year-old T65A2, T65A3, T65A4. As of this year, it also includes a five-month-old calf, T65A5.

I was lucky to get a couple pics of T65A5. The calves are pretty quick and hard to catch with the lens.

We saw Bald Eagles both American and Canadian 😉

There were harbor seals including one as we left the harbor. A King Fisher but could not get a good shot. A very fast and skittish little bird.

On Spieden Island there were a few Fallow Deer including a large antlered buck and an albino. There are two albino Fallow Deer

A long trip but some very wonderful sights along the way including T65A’s with playful calf today.
