Yesterday we saw Biggs Orca on two tours and J Pod on the evening tour. Today I was out twice and saw different Bigg’s pods on each.

There were 124A’s plus others on the first tour and the 65A’s on the second tour with the 5-month-old calf.

Plenty of seabirds including Bald Eagles, Pigeon Guillemot who had just caught lunch, Great Blue Heron, and a pic of Cormorant for Sara who wanted to see one.

I shot a couple interesting rock formations of limestone including one I dubbed Raven in Flight.

Some of my pics seem to have a sepia tone to them and that is just from all the smoke in the air from nearby forest fires.

It was a pretty choppy and rough water day but still, any day on the water is a great day.

I learned how to say Thank You Very Much in French today. “Merci BeauCoup” Learning to use a translation app to share stories with a very nice couple from France on a private tour.

They enjoyed this Bigg’s Day of Whales as much as I did.
