We spent quite a bit of time observing small groups of Orca. These were our Southern Resident Killer Whales including J’s, K’s, L’s and a Humpback Whale. They were not bunched up like they were yesterday. They were in groups of ones, twos, threes, and foraging in Haro Strait. Later on, they shifted down to the strait of Juan de Fuca.
On the afternoon tour, we spotted a Humpback Whale though he was being pretty shy about showing us his tail fluke. I never did see it and was not able to ID this whale.
There were J’s, K’s, L’s and a Humpback. SRKW’s including K21 Cappuccino, L87 Onyx, J27 Blackberry, J38 Cookie, and many others.
