With gales and rough seas in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, we headed north. We ended up off of the Frasier River viewing a group of transient killer whales.

They put on a great show for us, very active with lots of tail slapping, breaching and spy hopping.

We also saw a pair of Harlequin Ducks, some Canada Geese, Stellar Sea Lions, Seals including one laying on a log in the middle of the strait, and a pair of Bald Eagles.  The best part of the day though was the transient killer whale action up north.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
